Welcome Dragon tamer,
The Dragon hubs that started kicked everything off for Flow Forge, now in color.
Features
- Unparalleled impact resistance and durability
- Universal friction fit with all common staff sizes: FlowToys, 22mm Carbon Fiber
- Easy installation with our universal coupler system
- Can be custom fitted to your specific staff
- Expanded color selection
- 250 grams each disk
As a matching pair. Metatrons Dragon measures 265mm in diameter, and is built to take all the drops you can throw at it, (literally, throw them as hard as you can at concrete, you won't break them)
These hubs are 3D printed from flexible polyurethane filament, and have been dubbed festival proof by our fans. Rigid Dragon hubs can be bent or warped over time, but not these dragons, they flex with impacts making them gentle to use on surfaces and yourself.
The New Mass Wheel
One of the exciting developments we are releasing is our Mass Wheel accessory. These clip on to the outside of the disk if you prefer a little more weight with your staff. The wheel adds additional rigidity, combined with the size of the disk, and you'll find the roll of our Dragons lend themselves to versatility, and flow agility. Adds 80 grams to each disk.
If you would like to mix and match your wheel colors, message us with your order number.
Watch how durable these printed disks are:
A little story on these hubs:
2018 was the year we put things into motion. Our first 3D printer was reverse fungineered after 2 years of research and modified to create our first functional prototype, Metatrons Dragon. A single post to Dragon Staff Chat on Facebook in July 2018 started everything.
This picture is the first set of hubs ever sold shortly after that post, they went to Australia.
November 2019, I randomly meet the person they were sold to at a local flow jam, and she had the disks. One of those small world moments, finding the first born Metatrons Dragon in its natural habitat after so long, the first set, still holding up fine and straight as the day it was forged, now a festival veteran.
Is this real life?
At Flow Forge, we won't ever stop improving our products. Seeing our first born Dragon confirmed lots for us, wear and tear, how the set held up, and we compared that against how far we've come with our offering expansion and technique refinement. The disks were in great shape, and every detail that escaped that first production run, I confirmed when I held that set in my hands.
Many refinements and adjustments have happened since, which is why we are excited to expand our offering and to continue delivering outstanding value, since day 1.
